The ML5 controller offers many new capabilities including Micro USB Type-B connection for easier software upload / downloads, wireless connectivity for a more efficient communication interface, more Inputs and Outputs for expanded capabilities, faster processor for more efficient control algorithms and smart battery technology to ensure backup capabilities are available when required on critical cargoes. The controller was also designed with considerations made for better serviceability and has all the connectors on the front of the controller. Internally, more sensing capabilities were integrated to allow the controller to perform a self-diagnostic test which will validate if the controller is not functioning properly prior to changing it out.
